Well, it’s been a wee while since I’ve posted anything in this blog, as initially it was created for my last unit on Technology ~ (which I blitzed ~ just quietly ~ #DontWantToBrag 🙂 lol, However, since that unit has now finished, and I’m now neck deep into another, I thought I would keep it going, and use it as a reflection of my long, at times stressful, but exciting journey of becoming a teacher.
At nearly 43 years of age, this is a massive mental challenge for me ~ undertaking FULL ON study, whilst working full time at a school I adore, as well as being a mother & wife.
So far, I’ve managed to keep my sanity (just) ~ but it’s hard ~ and it’s challenging ~ and at times I feel guilty for spending so much of my time with ‘Mac’ ~ my laptop..but I know it will all be worth it in the end 🙂
So, I now have EDC140, EDC111, & EDC101, under my belt, and only 4 more weeks of EDC171 to go ~ but, it’s a long road with 29 units in total to be completed. Luckily for me, I’m a pretty positive person, but at times I really need to remind myself that whilst they feel like little steps, it’s a massive achievement to pass each unit, and a step closer to my final destination ~ my own classroom 🙂
This blog will now be where I reflect on the good, the bad, and the ugly of my study ~
It’s going to be an interesting read over the next 4+ years, as my opinions, beliefs, decisions, knowledge, and experience will be challenged & pursued.
